I’m so excited to find the next cohort of the Portland Experience!
The Portland Experience program is designed to help you prepare for the first step in your professional career with resume and interview coaching, connections, introductions and networking. At the info session, we covered some basic info needed to submit a successful application.
Reminder, the application deadline is Monday, January 21 at 5 pm.
Key info:
- The PDXeX is open to any SOJC major
- The PDXeX is a summer internship program that runs from July – September 2019
- You need to be a Spring 2019 graduate to participate. (If you are graduating at the end of Summer 2019 or Fall 2019, let’s chat about the options)
- You’re required to take a two-day, one-credit workshop Spring term (April 26-27)
Application should include:
- Cover letter for the program (not for an internship)
- Updated resume
- Three professional work samples (any type)
- Email to: kmatthew@uoregon.edu
- Application deadline: January 21 at 5 pm
- Interviews: January 21, 25, 28, 31
- Decision by: February 4
